Role Summary:
Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.

• Promptly respond to guest/staff mechanical and safety issues in a non-disruptive manner.

• Conduct daily inspections of hotel rooms, common areas, grounds, and back-of-house.

• Display solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.

• Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment (e.g., pump and motor replacement), plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical equipment including lamps, extension cords, gas fireplaces, vacuum cleaners, electrical switches and outlets, and other guest room items

• Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement

• Complete daily assignments and provides a written or verbal update to supervisor

• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to prioritize service requests

• Elevated sense of urgency

• Familiarity with preventative maintenance duties.

• General knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, drywall patching and installation, carpentry, painting, pool maintenance, bulb replacement, landscape maintenance, and furniture/fixture moving.

• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and share on-call duties with other maintenance department staff.

• Must be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds

• Hotel industry experience preferred

• Previous Supervisor/ Management Experience
