Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will provide medical care and treatment to a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and other small animals. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, perform surgeries, and provide preventive care to ensure the overall health and well-being of our patients. Duties: - Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health condition - Diagnose illnesses and injuries based on physical examinations, laboratory tests, and medical history - Develop and implement treatment plans for animals with various medical conditions - Perform surgical procedures, such as spaying/neutering, tumor removals, and orthopedic surgeries - Administer vaccinations and medications as needed - Provide emergency care to injured or critically ill animals - Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive measures - Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care - Maintain accurate medical records for all patients Skills: - Proficient in animal catheterization techniques - Strong knowledge of animal care practices and procedures - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and compassion - Understanding of animal physiology and common medical conditions - Knowledge of pet grooming techniques is a plus - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff members - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex medical cases Requirements: - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school - Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state - Prior experience working as a Veterinarian is preferred but not required We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
