Pathway Animal Hospital and Urgent Care is Hiring a Veterinarian Near Peachtree, GA

We are a fast-paced urgent care facility looking for a part-time or full-time veterinarian to join our team. We practice high-quality medicine and have a great reputation in our local community of Peachtree City and the surrounding area. You can enjoy the excitement of emergency medicine without working overnights. We offer flexible scheduling as well as rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and injuries in animals
- Perform surgeries on emergency patients
- Conduct regular check-ups and vaccinations
- Provide emergency care to injured or critically ill animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with pet owners and staff members
- Compassion and empathy towards animals and their owners
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and restraining animals if needed
