Wheels Up is looking for a world-class Aircraft Materials Supervisor in West Palm Beach, FL to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals, fueled by the most powerful brand in private aviation, as we continue our mission of democratizing the private aviation space through cutting-edge technology and innovative product and service offerings. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Materials personnel and activities in the day-to-day tasks of the materials operation.
  • Maintain high service levels to internal/external customers regarding Stockroom operational hours, service window response, inventory availability, etc..
  • Procurement of aircraft parts, components, and materials to support Station operations.
  • Coordinate with and communicate to Maintenance Control, Technicians, AOMs, Maintenance Planning, Suppliers, etc on the status of parts orders including delivery/tracking information.
  • Update and maintain inventory tracking program.
  • Maintain stockroom(s) organization to high standards.
  • Perform perpetual and regularly scheduled cycle counts of inventory.
  • Responsible for the quick and timely receiving, packaging, and shipping of parts and materials.
  • Responsible for receiving inspections of incoming inventory in accordance with company General Maintenance Manual.
  • Responsible for the efficient traffic of our shipments to get to destination in the quickest and most efficient method.
  • Identify, classify, and handle all ITAR shipments in accordance with Company Procedures and US Government regulations.
  • Identify, classify, and handle all hazardous material shipments in accordance with Company Procedures and CFR regulations.
  • Monitor and track exchange cores and promptly return to vendor.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 5 years industry experience preferred
  • 5 years supervisory experience
  • Customer service oriented
  • Effective verbal, telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Proven, strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and project/program management skills required
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs., bend, stand, and squat for extended periods of time

Salary Range

The wage range for this position $70,000-$80,000/Yr. is determined on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, such as differences in skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. This wage range has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with where the position may be filled. At Wheels Up, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Your placement within the wage range is primarily based on your qualifications and experience.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
