We are looking for a Christ-centered and authentic Women’s Ministry Director with a heart to disciple women of all ages in their walk with the Lord and to develop and mentor our female ministry staff. This woman will be responsible for supporting Wheaton Bible Church’s purpose, values, and mission of seeing people Love God, Love One Another, Love our Neighbors, and Love the Nations through all aspects of Women’s Ministry, and through serving on the Ministry Leadership Team and the Shepherding Team. This includes strategic vision, development and execution of an annual ministry plan, bible study groups, women’s ministry events, leadership development, and curriculum identification and development.

The Women’s Ministry Director will be a fully devoted follower of Christ, seeking God’s presence and leadership in every dimension of her life. She will be a spiritually mature woman of character and integrity, committed to holiness and developing her personal walk with the Lord and leading others in their faith by making disciples who make disciples. She will have a passion for seeing ministry flourish through the local church, a love for women and a heart and ability to lead and develop women, both in the ministry and on staff. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Bible/Theology and 5 years of leadership experience in Women’s Ministry in a large church. She will have the spiritual gifts of leadership, teaching, and shepherding. She will have engaging speaking skills, the ability to clearly communicate the Gospel, and a vision for the multiplication of disciples. This humble leader will be willing to be led as much as she is willing to lead, will have a strong theological alignment with Wheaton Bible Church, and will become an active member and participant in the life of WBC.

Wheaton Bible Church has a long history of investing in global missions and local outreach. Our commitment to reach the world with the love of Jesus Christ has continued through more than nine decades. Today, more than 30% of our church budget is directed to global and community outreach.

We support approximately 90 missionaries and partners in more than 52 countries—individuals and couples who use an array of skills and passions to impact more than fifty nations of the world in Jesus’ name. In challenging contexts where we cannot send our own due to lack of access or security concerns, we partner with Strategic Indigenous Leaders who know their culture and are proven leaders.

Locally, our Puente del Pueblo outreach is the largest social service provider in West Chicago—offering case management services for families, adult literacy programming, and after-school and summer programming for children and youth. Our church also partners in providing Safe Families, Refugee Resettlement, and other supportive services to the vulnerable in our communities.

On Sundays we offer three worship styles: A traditional, organ and choir led worship experience; a band led contemporary experience; and a contemporary Spanish service.
