Whalley Precision Inc. is a contract manufacturing job shop in search of an office administrator/estimators' assistant. Job Title: Office Administrator/Estimators' Assistant

Location: Southwick, MA

Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4pm

Report To: General Manager

Requirements:

• MUST have excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with departments on the floor to assist in Job/PO creation and material sourcing.
• MUST be comfortable with computer use and familiar with the use of basic office software.
• Comfortable with numbers, no advanced math required.
• Prior procurement experience is a plus.
• A basic understanding of manufacturing, with some technical knowledge.
• Lean and or ISO experience/training is a plus.
• A willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Office Admin - Duties can include coordinating with other office staff to assist in job entry & PO creation, receiving, checking in with vendors to assist in keeping our production schedule on time.
• Estimators' Assistant - Duties can include loading quote requests into software, sourcing raw materials and purchased components as prep for estimator.
