Overview:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our solar installation and commissioning team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and deliverables are met on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical and Solar project management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Travel to project site to monitor and supervise project implementation.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors, including staffing agency, equipment rental, service providers for the flawless execution of projects
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement appropriate solutions
- Conduct regular project status meetings with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on progress
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives with overall business goals
- Utilize project management tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Project Server, Primavera, ServiceNow, or other relevant software
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in electrics installation or related industry
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Project portfolio management experience is a plus
