We are a private family-owned orthodontic practice seeking an Dental Assistant (RDA/DA/OA) to help our office while a team member is out of maternity leave. Our office is well established, modern and conveniently located. We truly value our staff and offer team building and continuing education opportunities. Our goal is to provide you with a welcoming and comfortable office environment with a highly trained team to work with.

We also have two locations. The first is 10432 Reserve Drive #114, San Diego CA 92127. We are in this office 12 days a month. The second location is 16236 San Dieguito Road #2-22, Rancho Santa Fe CA 92067. We are in this office 2.5 days a month. Please be available to work at both offices.

Schedule: Long Term Temp (Approx. May-September)

• Mon 8:45am- 5pm
• Tuesdays 8:45am- 5pm
• Wednesdays 6:45am- 3pm
• Thursdays 8:45am- 5:30pm

Compensation Package:

• $25 to $30/hr (DOE)

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/OA) Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome all patients with a warm and welcoming smile
• Ensuring all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized
• Taking impressions, digital scans, photographs, and x-rays of patients' mouths and teeth
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Removing and replacing wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands
• Providing proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/OA) Requirements and Qualifications

• Active California RDA license is required, OA Certification is a plus!
• Orthodontic experience is preferred, not required
• Passionate about providing outstanding customer service
• Strong ability to build effective working relationships and connect with patients, parents and team members
• Works well within a team and is able to multitask
