Overview:

SEEKING CANDIDATES FOR FRIDAYS AND 1 SATURDAY A MONTH

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during patient procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for dentistry and a desire to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, providing necessary instruments and materials

- Take DIGITAL dental x-rays, INTRA ORAL SCANS, AND CBCT as directed by the dentist

- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols

- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed

- Schedule patient appointments and handle administrative tasks as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, but not required

- Knowledge of dental systems, infection control, and aseptic technique

- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology

- Proficiency in dental assisting procedures, including chairside assisting and instrument sterilization

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy

- Experience in dental receptionist duties, medical coding, medical documentation, or medical imaging is a plus
