Position: Teaching Assistant

Job Summary: Position requires the ability to assist the lead teacher in the classroom with the planning, organization and implementation of the appropriate instructional program to address the learning needs of the students; to guide and encourage students to develop and fulfill their potential in both curricular and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• Prior experience working with elementary aged children
• Upstanding character and the ability to model and uphold high social, emotional and academic expectations

Located in picturesque Pawleys Island, South Carolina, Coastal Montessori Charter School is an authentic Montessori school. CMCS is the only charter school in Georgetown County.
