Overview:

As a member of the Community Hospice Disciplinary team, the nurse works under the general direction of the medical director and or attending physician in the provisions of skilled nursing assessments, planning and coordination of services. This is done in order to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families. Participates in contracting facilities and community member, as well as meeting physicians and groups to market hospice services.

Education & Experience:

  • Registered nurse (R.N.) in the state of Ohio
  • Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or in related field
  • Must be CPR/First Aid Certified
  • Ohio driver’s license, current auto insurance and access to a car during working hours.
  • Home Health experience with terminally ill patients preferred.

  • Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent skills in leadership, management, interpersonal relations, networking, family, and customer relations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, excellent assessment skills, and ability to supervise others and the confidence to work independently.
  • Demonstrate skill in nursing practice, ability to cope with patient/family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles.
  • Active listening skills with the goal of understanding

Pay: $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
