General Summary: The Merchandising Coordinator/Supervisor is responsible for assisting with merchandise handling and pricing, setting and resetting products and product layouts, stock displays and rotations to ensure every space is optimized, as well as operating the business in effective ways that are aligned to established the proper policies and procedures of Wexford Ace Hardware. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements: Customer Service Project a positive representation of Wexford Ace Hardware. Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates. Answer and monitor all calls and pages promptly, courteously, and effectively. Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance. Continually build product knowledge base and assist customers with store layout and product location. Assist in pricing, stocking, marking, and organizing of store product. Minimum Requirements High School or GED equivalent. A commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance. Continually build product knowledge base and assist customers with store layout and product location. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
