Westward Property Management is Hiring a Handyman Near Chicago, IL

Westward360 is looking to add a Handyman to handle repairs and upkeep at a variety of properties in the Chicago area. If you want an opportunity to grow with a company on the rise, look no further! We pride ourselves in providing the ultimate experience for our clients.

As a leader in the Property Management industry, Westward360 is a full service operation with locations across the map. We offer services in property management, maintenance & construction, leasing, and brokerage. We pride ourselves in providing the ultimate experience for our clients.


What we offer:

  • Compensation range of $20-$30 per hour depending on experience
  • Monthly cell phone stipend
  • 40 hour work week Overtime as needed
  • Medical/Dental/Vision insurance
  • Two weeks vacation / one week sick time
  • 401k - Company match up to 4%
  • Long and short term disability at no cost to employee


What you’ll do:

  • Basic repair and installation tasks
  • Doors & Windows: installation and repairs
  • Carpentry: crown molding, chair rails, wainscoting, base molding, stairs, railings, shelving, trim.
  • Electrical: fixtures, ceiling fans, GFCIs, outlets, switches, exterior lights, dimmers, service upgrades, breaker panel replacement, and troubleshooting
  • Plumbing: faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, garbage disposals, shut off valves, ice makers, supply lines, drains, leaks, troubleshooting
  • Lighting and Lighting Systems: installation and troubleshooting
  • Drywall: repair and installation
  • Painting/Staining: interior and exterior
  • Roofing: patch small flat roof holes and troubleshoot leaks.


What you’ll need:

  • 3-5 years of handyman experience
  • Your own basic tools
  • Ability to lift tools and building materials weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally 75-100 lbs
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills and a general understanding of property management
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work a rotating “on-call” schedule
