POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the client-care goals through maximization of inventory control effectiveness. This individual assists in the management of the client clothing stockroom including receiving, storing/stocking, issuing and distribution of clothes to the clients. Makes clothing, and bedding purchases according to approved requisitions, keeps associated written records, and maintains inventory of goods/supplies. Assists in making purchases for departmental supplies/equipment as requested and approved. Keep warehouse clean and sanitary. Puts up stock using proper storage procedures, e.g., like items together, labels facing front, dating when necessary. Works in warehouse when needed , assist in the absence of housekeeping May be required to utilize approved techniques for management of aggressive client behavior toinsure the safety of clients and staff. Fulfills position duties using value-based principles in relationships with clients/co-workers/others and practices stewardship of resources in order to strengthen Westsides caring mission.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.

Experience: Inventory control experience preferred nut not required.

Other: Computer and Organizational skills required.
