This position is responsible to lead all Maintenance activities at the facility. The Supervisor will maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment and support of the QMS and EMS

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):

1. Adhere to all Company and OSHA safety regulations.

2. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines; follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions

3. Locate problem sources by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems and using precision measuring and testing instruments.

4. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes and hand and power tools; examine form and texture of parts.

5. Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

6. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, gages, measuring devises and straightedges.

7. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance

8. Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

9. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

10. Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

11. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications and establishing personal networks

12. Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.

13. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

14. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

15. Adhere to all process sheets, SOP’s, safety rules and Quality alerts.

16. Interact with all departments keeping supervisors and managers apprised of key developments.

17. Must be able to walk, bend and squat up to eight hours per day. Able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to one hundred pounds occasionally.

18. Sufficient personal mobility, which permits employee to work within the plant.

19. Sufficient manual dexterity, which permits employee to operate a keyboard and produce handwritten materials, notations and repair tools.

20. Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, which permits employee to communicate effectively;

21. Sufficient vision, which permits employee to review a wide variety of written correspondence and reports-related material both electronic and hardcopy.

22. Support Quality and Environmental policies and Management systems.

23. Maintain department KPI

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and logistics
• Experience with electrical maintenance (required)
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (preferred)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, ability to multitask
