Weston Foods is a premier North American Bakery Company. This role will be working in our Gaffney, SC artisan bread plant that produces nearly 5000 Cases of bread and Rolls a day! The position is a 1^st shift supervisor with some Saturday work as needed. Our warehouse is 10k sq. ft. and has 2500 pallet positions. This plant was built in 2013 and expanded in 2018; it is one of the newest in our fleet.

Summary:

Repair and maintain industrial bakery equipment to ensure a safe and smooth operation. Service, clean and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production and plant equipment in bakery, and improve equipment function via design improvements.

Job Duties: 

- Repairs and Maintenance 

 - Service, clean and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production equipment in bakery 

- Troubleshooting skill; both mechanical and electrical desired

 - Continually improve equipment function via design improvements

 - Control circuit troubleshooting

 - Basic refrigeration experience desired 

- Heath and Safety

 - Ensure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times and check work area for such hazards upon arrival/departure

- Work in safe manner in accordance with health and safety standards

 - Adhere to all company policies i.e lockout/tagout

- Other

 - Respond to bakery needs with a good customer service attitude

- Follow all safety procedures
