Classroom Teacher Duties

- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum program
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to engage students in active learning
- Provide a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and effective learning environment
- Use technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning
- Implement early intervention strategies for students who may require additional support
- Foster a love of learning and promote positive attitudes towards education
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies

Skills:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a productive and respectful learning environment
- Proficiency in math concepts and the ability to teach them effectively to students of various ages
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Understanding of child development stages and the ability to tailor instruction accordingly
- Experience in curriculum development or adapting existing curriculum materials
