Westin Indianapolis is Hiring a Culinary Supervisor Near Indianapolis, IN

Are you looking to take your next leap? Lead a team in the kitchen? Stretch out your Culinary skills? Join us as a Culinary Supervisor! If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced culinary setting, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines

- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed

- Collaborate with the Banquet team to plan and execute banquet events

- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients

- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

- Assist with training new culinary team members

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a culinary role is preferred

- Knowledge of food service principles and practices

- Strong understanding of menu planning and execution

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Knowledge of bartending is a plus

- Experience in the dietary department is a plus
