JOB TITLE:Driver
SUMMARY:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transports Westhab residents and staff as directed to scheduled clinic appointments, food pantry runs, other Westhab sites, housing and employment appointments, meetings, pick-up and delivery of supplies, inter-office mail, and if necessary, client moves to EHAP or permanent housing.
- Checks vehicle(s) on a daily basis for gas, oil, and fluid levels and mechanical defects.
- Assists with moving office furniture.
- Completes daily vehicle check log.
- Reports any vehicle accidents or damage to Facility Manager and Service Coordinator.
- Cleans all vehicle(s) interiors and exteriors as needed.
- Ensures vehicle inspection and registration stickers are current, and notifies Facility Manager one month before expiration date.
- Drives vehicle(s) to service and inspection appointments.
- Assists with maintenance activities on-site including but not limited to sweeping and moping floors, shoveling snow, cleaning windows, replenishing supplies, and taking out garbage.
- Other duties as assigned.
