Job Summary:

We are seeking a part time Member Services Officer to join our team. As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our members. This role requires strong financial sales skills, excellent math abilities, and proficiency in cash handling.

Responsibilities:

- Greet members and provide a warm and friendly welcome

- Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and financial services

- Process cash and non-cash transactions accurately using a cash register

- Educate members on various products and services offered

- Build and maintain strong relationships with members to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty

- Handle member complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner

- Perform loan origination duties, including reviewing applications and processing loan requests

- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and member interactions

- Adhere to all cash handling procedures and policies to ensure proper cash management

Skills:

- Strong financial sales skills with the ability to promote products and services effectively

- Proficient in math, including debits, credits, and basic financial calculations

- Experience operating a cash register or point-of-sale system

- Excellent relationship management skills to build rapport with members

- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner

- Knowledge of loan origination processes is preferred but not required

- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently while following all cash handling procedures

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
