Administers the hospitals program of Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities by planning, implementing, and coordinating patient record reviews for quality issues and DRG appropriateness. Assists in all quality activities, providing reports to hospital and system quality committees. Participates in performance improvement projects and activities, providing analysis of data and recommendations for improvement.

Education and Training

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS required.
• Certification in Certified Professional in Health care Quality (CPHQ) preferred; required within 18 months of appointment.

Experience

• Three (3) years recent professional nursing experience.
• Two years of recent quality improvement activities preferred.

• Ability to effectively summarize, format, and utilize statistical findings for review by medical staff, committees, and administration.

• Diploma or better in Nursing

• Bachelor's Degree or better in Nursing
