Applies orthopedic treatment items/technologies to patients upon the order of a physician. Assists in the care of the orthopedic patient, including care of fractures, casting and suture removals. Assists with minor office procedures. Schedules surgeries.

Education and Training

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Attendance and graduation from Orthopedic Technology program preferred.
• BLS required.

Experience

• Two (2) to four (4) years experience preferred.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

• Medical terminology required
• Must have and maintain technical computer skills
