The purpose of the HR hiring and training role is to support the organization's goals by recruiting and developing a talented and engaged workforce. By doing so, HR contributes to the organization's success and sustainability.

General Responsibilities:

1. Human Resources Functions:

• Responsible in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and coordination of interviews.
• Responsible for generation of active and passive candidates from job portals, networking sites, contact lists and internal databases through research.
• Review requisitions, understand hiring needs and position specifications and conduct research to identify suitable candidates.
• Responsible for candidate management that includes validation of interest, availability, work authorization, compensation, technical fit and qualifications.
• Conduct interviews and be responsible for arranging & coordinating interviews.
• Negotiate offers and close cases.
• Administer and coordinate new hire orientations and onboarding processes for staff.
• Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general workplace concerns.
• Contribute to employee relations by fostering a positive work environment and addressing concerns proactively.

2. Compliance and Policy Adherence:

• Stay informed about labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR and warehouse practices remain compliant.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

3. Training and Development:

• Identify training needs within the warehouse team and coordinate relevant training programs.
• Support ongoing employee development initiatives.

4. Health and Safety:

• Collaborate with the warehouse management team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Bilingual-Chinese/Mandarin preferred

Education: Minimum degree in vocational studies, preferred a Bachelor’s Degree. Certified in Human Resources is preferred. Experience: At least two to five years in human resources, administration, and supervisory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
