Western Motorcoach, a leader in Motorcoach Transportation, is seeking dynamic Sales Representatives to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to sell and market motorcoach charters for our Texas markets. The candidate must have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills to drive business growth, and professionally deliver top-notch customer satisfaction. Must be entrusted with confidential information related to our organization.
The ideal candidate should be sales-focused, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to increase overall charter sales performance, support business growth, and increase sales revenue. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts and growing and servicing new accounts, playing a crucial part in our company's success. This position is open to the Houston, Austin, and Dallas areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO FOLLOW:
· Efficiently respond to all incoming calls and email inquiries.
· Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to provide information to maximize sales volume.
· Identify potential customers and proactively initiate sales efforts.
· Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
· Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
· Provide exceptional customer service before and after the sale.
· Trip reservations, trip entry, price quotes, and confirmation.
· Book trip into the company’s charter booking software.
· Problems, complaints, and requests are resolved on time.
· Prepare accurate price quotes to customers.
· Provide timely quote follow–up.
· Maintain all quote records.
· Enter customer information accurately into the Motorcoach manager system and create trip files.
· Assist customers and arrange payment terms in accordance with established company policies.
· Provide dispatch and drivers with all relevant information to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.
· Assist in sales promotion to implement sales strategies and plans.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies.
· Entertaining existing and potential clients at networking events.
· Attending travel and tourism industry trade shows, meetings, and events.
· Catering to all client needs concerning both sales and operation requests.
· Executing and analyzing reports.
· Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
· Associate Degree in Marketing or Business.
· 2 years of previous experience as a sales and marketing coordinator.
· Experience working in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Experience with Excel and importing/exporting data from one system to another
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to communicate professionally via email and phone is required.
· Familiarity with travel and tourism logistics and operations.
· Previous experience with busing, transportation, or trip booking is a plus.
· Flexibility to travel to various Academy sales offices on a regular basis.
· Ability to work closely with fellow team members to reach a common goal.
· Ability to drive business growth through effective sales techniques.
· Dependable self-starter who takes initiative and accountability.
· Have critical thinking skills.
· Outgoing and friendly personality.
· Good listening skills, strong attention to detail, and organization are important.
· Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
· Works well under pressure, meets deadlines, and responds quickly.
· Adapts very well to change and inconsistency in the workplace.
· Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
· Be able to work flexible schedules, weekends, and sometimes based on business needs.
· Must pass a criminal background check and a drug-free workplace.
