Western Missouri Medical Center is Hiring a Volunteer Services Supervisor Near Warrensburg, MO
- Establish and maintain volunteer resources in the community e.g. Auxiliary, service organizations, schools and universities, churches and other institutions.
- Develop, conduct and maintain volunteer orientation.
- Input and maintain relevant data regarding all aspects of volunteer program.
- Serve other departments in a positive manner when assisting with project requests.
- Develop and maintain budget for Volunteer Services and ensures that volunteer program operates within its established financial guidelines.
- Integrate WMMC’s strategic plan (mission/vision/values) into volunteer program services by setting and monitoring progress toward goals.
- Assure appropriate volunteer staffing to support Medical Center services.
- Promote volunteer satisfaction and takes necessary action to maintain a productive and motivated staff.
- Ensure WMMC accomplishes the tactics as outlined in the annual Marketing Plan.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Recreation, Social Services or related field.
- 3 years related experience in a volunteer or philanthropy department/ environment with progressive responsibilities required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Managerial, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to build positive relationships with all levels of leadership throughout Medical Center and community.
- Experience with marketing/communications/public relations a plus.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work within the established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the hospital/clinic.
