Administrative Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to provide intake enrollment and scheduling of children
• Collaboration with team to hire and supervise student workers
• Mentor IECE internship students
• Demonstrate professionalism within the CEC and as a part of community outreach
• Collaborate with school districts, First Steps, private providers, and families regarding special education services
• Facilitate family involvement, engagement, communication, and education
• Coordinate and facilitate community outreach and involvement including social media
• Assist with NAEYC accreditation and maintaining NAEYC standards of quality
• Assist with health record collection

Instructional Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of evidence-based instructional fidelity
• Facilitate curriculum implementation and on-going assessment, including lesson planning and delivery
• Communicate child progress with families each semester
• Assist with screenings (developmental, vision, hearing) and make referrals as needed
• Collaborate with teacher team to create, implement and monitor child specific supports
• Collaborate with families in need of additional supports

• Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in early childhood education
• A minimum of three years' experience working with young children (birth through kindergarten entry) with special needs, with specific experience working with children with developmental disabilities including autism
• Experience working with an interdisciplinary team

Salary Range: $45,000 - $52,000
