The Piano Laboratory Program at Western Kentucky University is designed to provide piano pedagogy students and future teachers with actual teaching experience in private and group settings while serving our community. All teachers in the Piano Laboratory Program are either recent graduates or are currently enrolled in a piano or pedagogy course in the Western Kentucky University Department of Music. Teachers work with students in both individual and group settings during the fall and spring semesters, and assist in the preparation of end-of-the-semester recitals. Teachers report to the director of the Piano Laboratory Program and work collaboratively with fellow teachers and faculty of the Department of Music. This is a one year appointment, continuation will be contingent on funding and need.
Hourly Rate: $36.00
