Job Description :

Western Kentucky University's School of Media & Communication is seeking a non-tenure eligible, full-time faculty member to join the Public Relations major in August 2024 at the rank of Instructor I.

This position carries an expectation of excellence in teaching with a 5 / 5 teaching load. The successful candidate will be able to teach undergraduate classes such as, but not limited to : Fundamentals of Public Relations, Digital Tactics in Public Relations, Public Relations Writing and Production, Communications Analytics, and Public Relations Strategy and Planning.

Requirements :

• Master's degree in public relations, marketing, strategic communications, or allied field.
• At least 5 years of industry and / or academic experience.
