RMPT is looking for a Service Manager at our Brighton, CO location. The Service Manager provides leadership for a team of Field and In-Shop Service Technicians along with Service Department support staff. You’ll serve as a resource and point of contact for customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and provide support for a team of Field and In-Shop Service Technicians, along with Service Department support staff.
- Calculate and report monthly Service Department finances. Maintain and provide documentation of Service Department activities.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact and resource for customers, including escalated customer calls.
What You’ll Need:
- A safety-first mindset.
- A strong technical aptitude and experience with industrial diesel-powered engines, construction equipment, and power generation.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Service Department Manager.
- High degree of ethical behavior.
- Resourcefulness and ability to figure out viable solutions to resolve problems.
- High motivation and ability to maintain a high level of task focus. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Customer-focused and results-driven attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
What Helps:
- Experience with diesel-powered off-highway equipment preferred.
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) certifications are pluses.
- Relevant trade or technical school experience or certifications a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field a plus.
