RMPT is looking for an experienced Diesel Generator Service Technician at our Brighton, CO location. In this position, you will support customers by performing maintenance, diagnostic, and repair operations on diesel power generation units. 

Option of 5x8 or 4x10 hour days.

The Diesel Generator Service Technician will:

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Manage all aspects of critical power systems installation, start-up, and commissioning. Oversee correction of issues arising from commissioning.
• Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on all systems including PLCs, AC/DC, and switch gears.
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on electric power generation equipment, including gas and diesel engines, generators, and transfer switches.
• Coordinate with installing electrical contractors.

The Diesel Generator Service Technician needs:

• 3 years' minimum experience with diesel power generation.
• AAS Electrical Power Generator Technician certification or graduation from a technical school.
• Computer literacy.
• Self-directed mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) certification a plus.
• Ability to provide own hand tools and appropriate storage.
