Western Diesel Services Inc is Hiring a Facilities Technician Near St Louis, MO

$24-$26/hour. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with some overtime as needed.

CK Power is looking for a Facilities Technician at our St. Louis, MO location. The Facilities Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and repairs, and preventative maintenance of a wide variety of building and facility equipment and fixtures, including production and process equipment and tools.

What You’ll Do:

  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, engineering plans, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
  • Maintenance and repairs may include plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on operations and facility equipment.
  • Conduct general housekeeping.
  • Maintain facility grounds to include snow removal.
  • Comply with CK Power Employee policies and procedures and all applicable Safety regulations and requirements.
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and picker machines.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • 1 years of relevant experience.
  • Electrical experience, including commercial AC wiring.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong ethical conduct.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel).
  • Results-driven, customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

What Helps:

  • Mechanical/Technical degree preferred.
  • Electrical experience or education a plus.
  • OSHA 10 / 30 Hour training a plus.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) a plus.
