Western Daughters Kitchen is Hiring a Server / Barista / Line Cook Near Denver, CO

Western Daughters Kitchen is a brand new restaurant and cafe in the CSU Spur campus of Denver. Owned by Kate Kavanaugh and Josh Curtiss owners of Western Daughters Butcher Shoppe, we employ a philosophy of land stewardship and sustainable and humane standards to bring delicious meat to our guests. We source 100% grass-fed and pasture-raised animals directly from farms and ranches, working to build communities in Colorado and the local ecosystem every step of the way from farm to table. We are looking for a responsible, energetic, and flexible person for a full time position. Duties will include coffee service, beverage service, food preparation, line cook work, ringing customers up, and end of day closing, which includes dishes, sweeping, and mopping. Weekends and holidays off! This position is perfect for someone looking work their way up in a great 9 year old company with a healthy work environment. That means that you never leave work later than 7 PM or have to arrive earlier than 7 AM and we strive for everyone to have two days off in a row. We include grocery benefits where you have access to deeply discounted meat and produce, health insurance, tip sharing, and 2 weeks of paid time off. We prefer that you have some knowledge of coffee, prep work, cooking or an extreme willingness and passion to learn. Most important are your customer service skills and ability to work in a high-end setting. We are looking for a team member that wants to grow and learn with our small company. We ask that you have prior retail or service experience. Ideal candidates will be able to lift 50 pounds, be responsible and self-driven with a keen eye for detail, be a fun and supportive team member in a close-knit crew, and be eager to learn the ins and outs of not only meat but our regional food system.
