This position is a great fit for someone with administrative or retail experience who is looking to get into the property management field. Initially, this individual would function as back-up for our front-desk staff and property managers, learning how to take leasing calls and manage work orders for tenants. Must be comfortable with phones and dealing with customers, including emergency or collection calls.
This is a fast-paced environment - successful applicants will find days full of a large variety of situations and problem resolutions. Problem solving skills, listening and communication skills are key to both your success, the success of the company, and the various projects you represent. Applicants must be adept at learning new software, using MS Office Suite, and communicating professionally via email. They must also have good multitasking and time management skills and have a high level of organization and attention to detail.
The position will be transition into a full property management position, depending on the progress of the employee. As a property manager, they will handle all aspects of leasing spaces, learn basic maintenance tasks, how to call subcontractors and dispatch our maintenance team, how to create and analyze financials for owners. A real estate license is not required, but may be sponsored by the company in the future.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of retail/customer service required
· Reliable transportation required
· 3 years of office experience preferred
· Strong familiarity with MS Office, learning new software
·Ideally living in the Anchorage area, but open to working in Wasilla on occasion
Pay:
· Between $20-24, DOE
· Quarterly property performance bonuses
· Yearend bonus
