We are a local family-owned business located in Georgetown that specializes in healthy prepared meals delivered contact-free to our customers’ homes. At Westerly, we specialize in a multicultural inspired rotating weekly menu of gluten and dairy free meals packed with nutrient dense ingredients!

We are seeking a part-time team member to work across our Kitchen, Food Production and Order Fulfillment Departments! This position will consist of working as a dishwasher on Mondays, food production tasks, plating and packaging our meals for delivery to our customers.

Food Production and Orders Fulfillment Worker Schedule:

• Mondays: 8am-5pm
• Thursdays: 1pm-7pm
• Fridays: 9am-7pm
• Sundays: 8am-2pm
• Availability on Tuesdays & Wednesdays for fill in shifts is a bonus!

Food Production and Orders Fulfillment Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper food handling, storage and sanitation standards are always met
• Assemble ready to eat meals into packaged containers and maintain consistency in food preparation techniques and portion sizes
• Execute visually appealing plating presentations consistently, in high-volume settings with the advisory of management
• Fulfill various duties such as packing, labelling, weighing, inspecting, and cleaning while on the production line
• Operate industrial machinery for processing fruits, vegetables and dry goods
• Fulfill various duties such as packing, labelling, weighing, inspecting, and cleaning while on the production line
• Ensure that dietary restrictions and special requirements are accurately implemented in meal preparation
• Keep work areas organized and tidy by cleaning areas throughout the day and at the end of the shift

Food Production and Orders Fulfillment Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Permit within two weeks of hire
• Ability to lift 30 pounds, bend, walk, and stand for long periods of time
• Teamwork skills - must be able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere, have a good attitude and communicate respectfully with coworkers
• Organizational skills - must keep kitchen and workspaces clean and tidy
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the US
