Westdale Asset Management is Hiring an Administrative Assistant - Commercial Real Estate Property Management Near Dallas, TX

Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience (Hourly non-exempt position)

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two year's experience supporting commercial assets (office, retail, or industrial - not apartments or single-family homes).
  • Strong accounting skills including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Strong math aptitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Yardi Voyager proficiency is a plus.
  • Basic skills in Angus & Work order systems a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Handling Accounts Receivable by producing monthly statements and aged receivable notices, posting checks, and communicating with tenants regarding past-due balances.
  • Handling Accounts Payable by coding and processing invoices timely each week and maintaining current Certificates of Insurance for all vendors.
  • Greeting tenants, vendors, and guests in a professional, welcoming manner.
  • Developing and maintaining positive, ethical, professional, and courteous tenant and vendor relationships.
  • Addressing maintenance issues timely and assisting Commercial Property Manager in maintaining appropriate service contracts.
  • Creating, organizing, and maintaining tenant, vendor, and property information.
  • Performing clerical duties in support of the Commercial Property Manager and the Commercial Division such as: correspondence, printing, faxing, copying, collating, filing, and researching as needed.

Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Required License or Certification: Valid Driver's License in the state where the property is located, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property where applicable, or willing to obtain a Driver's License to meet these stipulations within 60 days.
