- Strategic partner, acting as liaison between external partners (Clients, Vendors), internal user community (operations, product owners) and the IT development teams.
- Gathers business requirements from stakeholders and translates them to actionable technical requirements/stories for use by the development team.
- Coordinates and obtains formal signoff from stakeholders on statement of work prior to development effort on assigned projects.
- Documents and tracks change requests on assigned projects.
- Creates and maintains standard BA “tool kit” documentation (standard operating procedures, BRD, FRD templates, flowcharts, QA/QC templates, change management templates, project status, etc.)
- Drive process improvement through seeking out and identifying opportunities, business process definition and system alignment.
- Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly.
- Ensure smooth transition from project completion to support with necessary documentation.
- Provides training and support to end users, quality control resources, and clients.
- May supervise junior level business analysts.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 -10 years of directly related experience.
- Travel (5-10%).
- Analytical, data management skills.
- Ability to interview, formulate questions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to define parameters to meet business requirements.
