Westcor Land Title Insurance is Hiring a Technical Business Analyst Near Plymouth Meeting, PA

This is an on-site position. This role will be located at our Plymouth Meeting, PA Office Location.
Position Summary: The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with internal and external
stakeholders to deliver solutions to complex integrations and business problems from project inception to delivery.
Essential Functions:
  • Strategic partner, acting as liaison between external partners (Clients, Vendors), internal user community (operations, product owners) and the IT development teams.
  • Gathers business requirements from stakeholders and translates them to actionable technical requirements/stories for use by the development team.
  • Coordinates and obtains formal signoff from stakeholders on statement of work prior to development effort on assigned projects.
  • Documents and tracks change requests on assigned projects.
  • Creates and maintains standard BA “tool kit” documentation (standard operating procedures, BRD, FRD templates, flowcharts, QA/QC templates, change management templates, project status, etc.)
  • Drive process improvement through seeking out and identifying opportunities, business process definition and system alignment.
  • Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly.
  • Ensure smooth transition from project completion to support with necessary documentation.
  • Provides training and support to end users, quality control resources, and clients.
  • May supervise junior level business analysts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 -10 years of directly related experience.
  • Travel (5-10%).
Competencies:
  • Analytical, data management skills.
  • Ability to interview, formulate questions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to define parameters to meet business requirements.
  • MS Visio.
  • Agile/Waterfall SDLC.
  • MS SQL.

Physical Demands:
This role is mostly sedentary and requires the ability to sit for long periods each day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate orally. The employee uses hands and fingers to type, handle, and reach. The ability to operate office machinery such as computer, phone, copier, printer, etc in the commission of daily duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
