Details about this exciting opportunity:

• Full Time (40 hours/week) Employment Specialist position available in Westchester County
• Salary Range: $35,000-$40,000/year

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Completing the discovery process
• Assisting individuals through the process of job development, employment acquisition, and job coaching at work sites
• Responsible for the completion of documentation and billing in compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policy
• Provide a person-centered approach to customized employment.

If you have the following:

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have some college experience. A Bachelor’s degree in human services field with a minimum of one-year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

And Attributes:

• A valid NYS driver’s license is required to be able to travel within the community.
• Job Development and Job Coaching experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and group process skills
• Ability to be accurate, conscientious and flexible with attention to detail
