Details about this exciting opportunity:

• 28 hour/week Licensed Clinician opening in our community-based Family Opportunity Center, with the trauma team (Trager Lemp Center: Treating Trauma, Promoting Resilience) based in our Hartsdale Family Mental Health Clinic.
• This position is in a community-based setting with families and children; ability to connect and network with community members and services is necessary.
• We seek clinicians with a particular interest in and experience working with diverse at-risk families and those affected by trauma (high ACES score), as well as have experience facilitating groups and working within a community based, non-traditional setting. 
• Training and supervision in working with children with problematic sexual behaviors and other evidence-based practices is provided.
• Compensation: $54,400/year ($37.36/hour).

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessment and develop written treatment plan with the client (collaborative documentation).
• Provide appropriate clinical documentation and agency reports (e.g., clinician’s schedule, treatment plans) in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Provide treatment in various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy for ongoing treatment cases.
• Lead clinically informed life and social skills groups that focus on emotional regulation and problem solving.
• Provide crisis intervention, when needed; and maintaining necessary client-related contacts with other agencies and resources (courts, schools, etc.) including written material, telephone contact and personal visits as necessary
• Maintain necessary patient related contacts with other agencies and resources for courts, schools, etc.) including written material, telephone contact and personal
• Provide emergency and general clinical coverage for the respective office/clinic.

If you have the following:

Qualifications:

• An MSW and License to practice Social Work in the State of New York. 
• LMHC’s are also encouraged to apply.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred.
