Westbay Community Action has an immediate opening for a Home Energy Appliance Liaison that will provide administrative office support, maintain program records, a data collection system, and coordinate client activities.

This position is 37.5 hours per week with a pay rate of $19/hour.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience working in a Weatherization Program preferred.
  • One year experience data entry
  • Pass BCI, Background check including Motor Vehicle Report and 5-panel lab drug test

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily operation of home energy programs ensuring that supervisors, clients, and staff have the information and materials needed to accomplish the work within the department.
  • Answer phone/emails and provide information, program guidelines and referral services.
  • Maintain work schedules for home energy appliance program and schedule home energy appliance program related appointments.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, emailing, and faxing.
  • Assure the confidentiality of all records.
  • Aid in vendor and contractor retention.
  • Prepare, review, process, and submit all invoicing for approval.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors, CAAs, and funders.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork and reports as required.
  • Update and maintain all home energy appliance program spreadsheets.
  • Accurately and timely enter data into external and internal databases.
  • Assist in monitoring performed by CleaResults/RIE as needed.
  • Attend in-house meetings and trainings as required.
  • Educate the general community about the services of Westbay.
  • Assist home energy program Directors, as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
