Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for developing long-term relationships with the portfolio of assigned customers and connecting with key business executives. The Account Manager acts as a liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Essential Functions

• Operate as the lead point of contact for any matters specific to your customers
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Improves the profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions
• Supports and implements marketing plans, promotions, and new product launches
• Secures long-term relationship by negotiating product supply agreements
• Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Responsible for gross profit improvement and securing new business
• Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
• Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
• Contacts existing accounts and cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with two years of account managing experience.
• Previous knowledge in industrial gas services and data entry is not necessary but desired.
• A demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
• Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time.
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word experience
• Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, including as a driver or passenger in an
automobile.
• Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to visit and move around at construction and other work sites, including the ability to maneuver in tight or small places.
• Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 pounds. Moreover, that may occasionally weigh more than 25 pounds.

50% Travel is required
