Blackwater Falls Gift Shop Manager TEMPORARY

PAY RATE : $15.00 per hour

Under the guidance/direction of the Tourism Specialist, Employee will serve as the Blackwater Falls gift shop Manager at Blackwater Falls State Park(lodge, trading post, campground and sled run) and will exercise considerable independent judgment in the management and tasks necessary for the day-to-day operation of the Blackwater Falls gift shops.

Employee is responsible for purchasing and purchasing documents which include coding of invoicing, inventories, fund accountability and other paperwork as acquired or assigned. Employee is responsible for scheduling and training of staff. Employee is responsible for developing and maintaining a good working relationship between co. store staff and all concessionaires at Blackwater Falls State Park and will promote good relations with park guests and the public.

Employee will assist park office staff as is needed in the day-to-day operations. Employee will do hands-on work within the area of assignment plus all related work as required by Superintendents.

Background in retail sales is preferred. Must have knowledge in point of sales and room master. Must have good communication skills. Must be able to obtain division purchasing Card.
