a. possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) or Apprenticeship in Child Development Specialist (ACDS) certification (PLUS take the additional coursework noted below), OR
b. must have completed or enroll in the WVDE Canvas Learning Management System Classes that include the following:2025-2026 ECCAT Courses:*To complete ECCAT course assignments, there is a requirement that all ECCAT course participants must be in the same 1st grade, 2nd grade, or 3rd grade classrooms for a minimum of five hours per week for each of the 14 weeks that the ECCAT course is in session.
