West Valley Natural Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Boise, ID

About us

We are a General Dentistry with a focus on Naural Dentistry. We work Monday - Thursday and are closed on Fridays.

Dental Assistant Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment

Dental Assistant Skills:
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain infection control standards
- Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental practice management software
- Understanding of medical documentation requirements in a dental setting
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Competence in dental assisting procedures such as chairside assistance, instrument passing, and suctioning
- Ability to operate and interpret medical imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes
- Adherence to strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
- Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately

This position requires a Dental Assistant who is skilled in various aspects of dental care, including pediatric dentistry, aseptic technique, Eaglesoft or similar software, dental receptionist duties, medical documentation, anatomy knowledge, dental assisting procedures, medical imaging interpretation, infection control practices, and vital sign measurement. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
