Job Description:
We are in search of a dental assistant to join our specialty practice in Boise, ID. Pay will be DOE. Our ideal applicant is dependable, compassionate, efficient and works well in a team environment. Our goal is to hire an individual who can multitask and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. Experience with Dentrix software and Dexis a plus.

More about the role:

• Assisting the doctor in initial patient assessment and surgical procedures including soft tissue grafting, individual implant placement as well as full mouth reconstruction and periodontal surgery.
• Obtaining patient records including x-rays, CBCT, impressions, recording periodontal charting, recording a thorough medical history and communication with medical providers and referring dentists.
• Support our hygiene department with room turn around to ensure efficient work flow and help address any situations that may arise during the work day.
• Prepare and breakdown treatment rooms for all procedures and complete sterilization process.
• Maintain efficient note taking and compose and send all correspondence to referring doctors.
• Monthly staff meeting, quarterly team building, and continuing education opportunities.
