Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to teachers in the classroom working with students in various educational settings
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional plans and strategies
- Supervise and monitor students during instruction, recess, and other activities
- Assist with the implementation of behavior management plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Requirements:
- 60 college credits required
- Prior experience working with students with a school setting is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with students, teachers, and parents
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
