West Ky Abrams Do Pa is Hiring a Medical assistant Near Miramar, FL
Family Practice with a solo physician, ARNP’s, and PA who all have a great sense of humor.
This is a well-organized and busy practice encompassing primary care and weight loss. We have many areas for growth and opportunity and are currently looking for an experienced medical assistant to join our office family.
We are blessed with amazing staff who get along very well. The work environment is excellent, and the days are Monday through Friday from 8 to 4.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Perform vitals and escort patients to exam rooms
- Perform lab draws, prepare specimens for lab pickup
Qualifications :
- 3 Years in Family Practice / Internal Medicine or other primary care related field
- Familiarity with insurance eligibility, medical billing procedures, CPT codes
- Strong literacy, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Computer or EMR competency a must
