Until filled West Hartford Public Schools seeks a highly qualified and motivated interim high school teacher (FTE 1.0) to join Conard High School’s dynamic team for the remainder of the 2023-2024 academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching two sections of Algebra I, two sections of Pre-calculus, and one section of Honors Pre-calculus. The position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the academic development of our students.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification for the State of Connecticut (029, 229).
• Proven experience teaching Algebra I, Pre-Calculus, and/or Honors Pre-calculus.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and respectful learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
