What you will do:

• Safely operate all equipment in the Planer Mill
• Relieve all other semi-skilled positions within the mill
• Repair all units needing repair by end of shift, daily
• Assist in maintaining all equipment in the mill as instructed by Supervisor
• Assist co-workers, as needed!
• Train co-workers on how to operate equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and mill
• Must communicate and get along with others
• Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education and Experience you will need:

• High School or GED required
• Ability to learn all required duties
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Eligible to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Willing and able to work a 10-hour rotating schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills
• Consistent, predictable attendance
