West Central Behavioral Health is Hiring a Mental Health Counselor (Child) Near Claremont, NH

Master’s level Clinical Therapists at West Central Behavioral Health provide a continuum of services to children, adolescents and their families. Our team provides a full range of counseling services for their mental health, including intensive family issues, trauma, and mental illness in individual, family or group therapy sessions. You will be able to work in a small supportive team atmosphere while also working as part of a larger organization.

We are seeking a Full-Time Mental Health Clinician with experience working with children and adolescents in our Claremont, NH office. This position offers a flexible schedule, and the ability to provide counseling in-person or via telehealth as appropriate.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Provide brief psychotherapy to children and/or families, including intake and evaluation, collaboration and mobilization of community resources, and provision of individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Assist clients to gain insight, define goals, and plan action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
  • Manage case referrals and assignments, coordinating client care needs with other team members to ensure effective and optimal care.
  • Follow through with parents, teachers, referring physicians or agencies as needed in a timely way to ensure optimal client care coordination.
