Full Time Medical Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our medical office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. Your duties will be:

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary patient data
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical scheduling, follow-ups and coordination of patient appointments
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

- Obtain Prior Authorization and do referrals
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth operations

- Collect patient payments

Qualifications

- Must be bilingual

- Full time - Previous experience as a medical receptionist

- Experience with Insurance Verification

- Experience with EMR software, specially eClinicalWork
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work as a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy

- Must be flexible with schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
